Like most people, I love St. Patrick’s Day because it’s the one time of year that day drinking is acceptable and you can consume copious amounts of shitty green beer. My only issue with the day is that you MUST wear something green which, for a neutral wardrobe lover like myself, can be quite challenging. Year after year I find myself purchasing last minute, cheap, hideous green pieces that I know I’ll never wear anywhere else. So, this year ditch those tacky four leaf clover headbands because I have created a list of options that every neutral lover can wear.
THE GREEN BODY SUIT
This is a great option since the body suit is a more neutral tone and can be easily worn with most pieces from your closet. Pair this body suit with black jeans and you’re good to go.
THE GREEN BRALETTE
Another great option if you want a more subtle look. You could pair this under a strappy top so that the bralette peeks out through the top and sides.
THE GREEN BOMBER
Green bombers are seriously everywhere so getting your hands on one should be pretty easy this year. It’s a very low maintenance St. Patty’s Day look.
THE GREEN SKINNY NECK SCARF
Definitely a great chic accessory that will stand out and is also perfect for this time of year as it’s not too heavy/warm.
THE GREEN CUT-OUT TOP
These tops are anything but boring and will add a nice green touch to any look. Pair these with some denim for a casual outfit.
THE GREEN SHOE
I love shoes in this army/camo colour. Make your outfit casual with the sneakers or dress it up with the heels. The best part is that you’ll be able to wear these again and again.
THE BOLD GREEN LIP
I know this is a super bold lip and it’s definitely going to be too much for some people. However, I find this dark forest green lipstick in ‘Young Attitude’ to be stunning on the lips. It’s a matte liquid formula so that thing is staying on all day.
I hope this list was able to give you some kind of inspiration or ideas.
